India’s decline Against Spin
India was known for playing spin well that other top spinners felt as if it is hard to take wickets. But as India looked for making players better against fast bowling and lack of hard wickets overall, the decline against Spin is such that New Zealand batsmen played better than India.
The series also made the allegation that today’s gensation is all about hitting big in normal wickets and getting out in ease in hard wickets to play on. This is something that concerns Gautam Gambhir, who wants to make bowling-friendly surface. But it seems India batsmen are not ready to play spin well as India was doing during head coach Gambhir’s time as a player.
